Missionary Work in Our Stake
Texas Houston South Mission
Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ is at the heart of the Lord’s work in our stake. Our stake is part of the Texas Houston South Mission, led by President Garn. Full-time missionaries serve alongside our ward members in every ward and branch, and every member has a part in the work.
“And how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!”
Doctrine and Covenants 18:15
Share the Gospel with a Friend
Do you know someone who would like to learn more? Your ward mission leader and the missionaries serving in your ward can help you share an invitation, a lesson, or a visit. You can also invite a friend to explore at churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist.
Support Our Missionaries
Please remember the missionaries serving from our stake in your prayers and invite them into your home. Members can also give to the Ward Missionary Fund to help support those who are serving or preparing to serve from their ward or from the stake. Speak with your bishop to learn more.
Preparing to Serve a Mission
Four Steps to Get Started

“O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength.”
Doctrine and Covenants 4:2
